Your painting was selected by Kathleen Giles, Juror of Selection, from an exceptional and highly competitive field representing the extraordinary talent of our membership. We are especially proud 40% of the selected artists are Associate Members – a testament to the strength and vitality of our emerging voices. This year’s exhibition reflects the truly global spirit of watermedia with artists from Bulgaria, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Kyiv, Lithuania, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States. Together, you demonstrate the power of art to transcend borders, languages and cultures. To those whose paintings were not selected, please know how deeply we value your dedication and courage in sharing your art. We understand how personal these submissions can be. Because juried exhibitions are inherently subjective, we warmly encourage you to consider re-entering your work in this year’s 106th International Open Exhibition or in next year’s Members Exhibition – another juror may respond very differently. We are grateful to all who shared their artwork. Your passion for watermedia enriches our global community, and we look forward to celebrating together at the Virtual Reception and Awards Celebration on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 (11:00 AM Pacific Time / 2:00 PM Eastern Time).
