Following the Jury of Selections, those who have been accepted into the annual Juried NWS International Open Exhibition shall be invited to apply for membership at the same time they send in their painting for final review.   Qualifying Associates and Non-Members shall submit three (3) additional matted paintings to be viewed by the Jury of Selection. If the paintings submitted are determined by the Jury of Selection as meeting the standards of quality and consistency required  by the Society, the applicant shall be invited to Signature membership in the Society. 

The alternate procedure  is for the Associates and Non-Members providing evidence that he or she has had three (3) paintings accepted and exhibited in the Society's International Open Exhibitions.  Upon verification of the evidence, the invitee shall be accepted as a Signature Member of the Society.  Only those qualifying signature members, who pay their annual dues on a continuing basis each year, shall have the right to vote and use the initials NWS after their name.
