NWS 2015 International Exhibition Juror Soon Y. Warren, NWS, AWS, TWSA works internationally as an artist, teacher, and workshop instructor. The creative process is her passion, and hands-on painting is the life she enjoys.
Following her 3-day workshop at the NWS Gallery in San Pedro, Soon will give this presentation with the images transmitted live over the Internet and viewed on the HD televisions in the gallery. Artists who are enrolled in the workshop are invited to attend this lecture for no additional fee.
The presentation begins with the story of Soon Warren’s artistic journey followed by a step-by-step explanation of the creation of the painting “Peonies and Crystal” shown above. Soon will discuss the methods she used in creating the cut crystal and other elements of the vibrant painting.
The evening time is to experiment with that time slot for the busy schedules of our members around the world.
